Rania Bader

Dr. Rania Bader is a health policy and pharmaceutical governance expert with over 20 years of experience advancing transparency, accountability, and evidence-based policymaking in health systems across Jordan and the Middle East. Her work focuses on strengthening governance in the pharmaceutical sector, promoting integrity in public procurement of medicines, and improving equitable access to essential health services.

Dr. Bader currently serves as General Manager of IQVIA for Jordan and Iraq, where she leads strategic initiatives in healthcare analytics, policy advisory, and health system innovation. She has worked closely with governments, civil society, and international development partners—including the World Bank, WHO, USAID, and UNDP—on health sector reform, pharmaceutical policy, and transparency initiatives.

She previously served on the Board of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) and played a key role in implementing the Medicines Transparency Alliance (MeTA) in Jordan, a global initiative aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability in pharmaceutical systems.

A strong advocate for civic engagement and institutional integrity, Dr. Bader has led multi-stakeholder initiatives that bring together government, civil society, and international partners to advance good governance, improve access to medicines, and strengthen accountability in the health sector.
