Rasheed (Transparency International-Jordan) is going to hold a training event on Monitoring Land Governance and Land Tenure Security in the Arab Region (Middle East sub-region) during December 14 to 16 this year.
The training aims to bring together key actors from the Arab states of Middle East region with diverse professional backgrounds, but with particular experience and interest in collecting, analyzing and monitoring land governance-related data and evaluation of land tenure and governance related interventions in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals and beyond.
The topics this training will be covering are fresh in this region, for the most part, and will be very beneficial to anyone working in the scope of land governance and developing capacities to improve transparency, accountability and evidence-based decision-making regarding land.
Participants in this training will have the opportunity to improve their technical skills concerning collecting, analyzing and evaluating data related to land governance. The discussion will enhance approaches aimed at improving land governance and tenure security in the region, identifying common regional perspectives, priorities and solutions to promote land governance monitoring.

Note: Participants must have a sufficient proficiency in the English language to be able to communicate with the experts, who will be delivering the training. However, Arabic translation will be provided in order to ease understanding of the training content.
