For the first time, “Rasheed” launches the Integrity Academy 2022


Amman – Rasheed Integrity and Transparency (Transparency International – Jordan) has launched the Integrity Academy today in Amman, considering it part of the “Integrity School and Academy 2022” project, supported by the German Federal Foreign Office and funded through the “zivik funding program of the Institut Für Auslandsbeziehungen (ifa)”, a German organization for international cultural relations, with the supervision of the Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission.

 

The Integrity Academy for this year has been built based on the achievements of the Integrity Schools project for the years 2020 and 2021, because the project has deepened the participants’ knowledge of the importance of engaging in social accountability issues and its impact on the process of consolidating integrity and transparency to fight corruption.

The Integrity Academy aims to offer all alumnus of integrity Schools in 2020 and 2021 the chance to receive specialized and advanced training on one of the following topics: enhancing integrity and anti- corruption, conflict management and resolution for peace-making, social accountability, advocacy, and its role in reducing crises at the societal level Through three specialized training programs will be held over two months divided into six days for each academy, including advanced scouting activities, with the proximity of 60 participation.

The Integrity Academy and School project (20222023) is a part of “Rasheed” programs that are designed to develop youth capacities, equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to involve in society, and educate each peer about integrity, anti-corruption, managing conflict, and engaging in social accountability and advocacy campaigns that will strengthen their capacity as leaders of change.

This project contains an implementation of four schools and one academy with three specialized training programs For alumni of the previous Integrity schools.

Rasheed (Transparency International-Jordan) aims to reinforce the involvement of the Jordanian citizen in anti-corruption activities, protect public, private, and local governance institutions against corruption, enhance the efficiency and independence of control agencies specialized in the area of anti-corruption, strengthen the integrity of the legislative and judicial authorities, and reinforce the performance of Rasheed (Transparency International-Jordan) towards achieving its mission and vision.
